Diploma of Accounting
The Diploma of Accounting has recently been updated and has become an extremely popular entry-level accounting qualification as it provides you with a solid grounding and strong start into the accounting field.
By studying your Diploma of Accounting Online, you'll have a great deal of flexibility. You can enrol and start immediately with the freedom to study from home while you continue to work full-time or part-time if you wish to do so, gradually completing your Diploma at your own pace. Doing your Diploma of Accounting by distance is a great and easy way to make your move into the accounting field. It will qualify you to assist an accountant or be an accounts clerk. Usually approximately 3-4 years, depending on which course provider you study with. You are usually able to apply for extension if you have a valid reason why you weren't able to finish it within the specified time-frame. Considering this course takes many people less than 12 months to complete, 3-4 years is an extreme amount of time and you shouldn't require much longer.
-Are there exams?
No, when you study via distance there are written assessments which you need to submit. With your Diploma of Accounting, you also have MYOB assessments to submit online.
